Our cosy cottage, appropriately named Mogo Tea Rooms is well-known for delicious old-fashioned home cooking and friendly service.
Enjoy a hearty country breakfast served from 9.30am, or call in for morning tea when we serve our special Devonshire teas with a variety of flavoured scones hot out of the oven! These and other sweet treats are accompanied by leaf tea in a pot, or try something new from our extensive hot drinks menu – all served with a smile and a home baked cookie!
For lunch, indulge in a mouth-watering open gourmet burger served with lashings of fresh garden salad and your choice of honey sesame sauce, pesto, sweet chilli mayonnaise, chutney or salsa. Or choose one of our tempting savoury bakes, quiches or lasagne, also baked on the premises. Our popular open grills with fillings such as freshly baked chicken breast fillets and ham sliced off the bone always delight our customers.
Remember our motto: For your enjoyment we don’t serve fast food, we serve good home made food as fast as we can!
Whether you call in for lunch, morning or afternoon tea, you will be tempted to sample our scrumptious home-made cakes. We also have a fine selection of locally made jams, pickles, relishes, chutneys and sauces on sale.
Dine inside in air-conditioned comfort throughout the year where the atmosphere is casual, cosy and friendly. Or if you prefer the fresh air, our safe outside courtyard is ideal for families with small children, or people with pets – and your pooch will be warmly greeted with a bowl of cool water!
Limited parking at the door is reserved for customers, and we have a customer rest room inside.
Open 7 days in summer from 9.30am. Closed Fridays in winter.
